Tuesday was not a good night for Columbus County Dixie softball teams.
South Carolina again was South Columbus’ kryptonite, defeating the North Carolina representative 8-1. South Carolina also defeated South Columbus 7-2 in opening round play on Saturday. The South Columbus Angels battled back through the loser’s bracket, winning three games in a row to reach the final four before dropping Tuesday night’s game.
