Stallions’ Strickland resigns

Bradley Strickland has resigned from his position as teacher/coach at South Columbus High School. Strickland was serving as an assistant football coach and the head varsity coach for Stallion baseball. In the classroom, Strickland taught math.

Strickland’s baseball teams at South Columbus had an overall record of 40-31 during his three seasons as head coach. The Stallions were 24-18 in the Three Rivers Conference during that same time frame. South Columbus advanced to the fourth round of the 2A playoffs in 2016. The Stallions advanced to the second round in both 2015 and 2017.

Strickland is expected to take a teacher/coach position at Green Sea-Floyds High School in South Carolina.
