The Wolfpack Optimist AA baseball squad defeated Riegelwood 17-5 Monday evening to become the lone undefeated team in the tournament. Despite the win, Wolfpack Optimist faced Bladen County Tuesday night because the Optimist had received a bye earlier in the tournament. Wolfpack Optimist defeated Bladen County 11-3.

Wolfpack Optimist and Riegelwood play Wednesday evening at 7:30. An Optimist win would give them the District title. A Riegelwood win would force a winner-take-all final game Thursday

In Supplemental tournament action, Elizabethtown took an 18-8 win over Wolfpack Optimist to remain unbeaten. Columbus County and Wolfpack Optimist faced off Tuesday evening to determine who gets the opportunity to try and knock Elizabethtown off twice. Wolfpack Optimist took a 17-5 win over Columbus County.

An Elizabethtown win Wednesday would give them the title. An Optimist win would force a final game on Thursday. Elizabethtown competes in the District 2 Supplemental tourney since its district (District 9) does not have a supplemental tourney.
