Tuesday middle school soccer may still leave ???

Tuesday’s action was scheduled to end regular season middle school boys soccer play in Waccamaw Middle School Conference play. A total of four matches remain to be made up with all four possibly affecting the race for A and AA-Division championships.

Hallsboro at Tabor City
Clarkton at Acme-Delco
West Columbus at Williams
Bladenboro at Central
Tar Heel vs. Elizabethtown at Bladen Co. Park

Monday

Clarkton defeated Nakina 2-0 to keep the Blue Devils in the race for a piece of the A-Division title. Even with the loss, Nakina is guaranteed no worse than a tie for the A-Division crown. Nakina has completed play with a 6-2 record. Clarkton improved to 5-2.

Acme-Delco received goals from Israel Carson and Luis Hernandez Garcia in its 2-0 win over Tabor City. Acme-Delco (4-2) still has a chance to claim a portion of the A-Division title.

Central spotted Williams a 1-0 lead before coming back for a 2-1 win at Legion Field. Elizabethtown shut out West Columbus 4-0. Tar Heel edged Bladenboro 1-0. Elizabethtown and Tar Heel are locked in a battle for the AA-Division crown.
