Two chances to get a COVID-19 shot in the coming days [free read]

Columbus County will have two COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the upcoming week: one on Saturday and one on Tuesday. 

On Saturday, StarMed will be administering vaccines at Whiteville City Hall, 317 S. Madison St., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pfizer (for individuals aged 12 and older) and Johnson & Johnson (for individuals aged 18 and older) will be available. 

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are also an option. To schedule, visit StarMed.care or call 980-445-9818. 

On Tuesday, the Columbus County Health Department will be administering vaccines 5-8 p.m. Moderna (for individuals aged 18 and older) and a limited number of J&J will be available.
