Whiteville education, city leaders stress need for community support of schools

With messages imploring community participation and respect for the school ground, Whiteville City Schools and Whiteville Police Department held a “Community Conversation on School Safety” Saturday morning at Central Middle School.

Around 20-30 community members attended the meeting, as well as WCS board members and Whiteville Mayor Terry Mann.
