The City of Whiteville recently received a grant to improve drainage by clearing vegetative debris throughout the city, including the Soules Swamp area.
Whiteville was one of over 100 recipients of the grant, distributed by the North Carolina Soil and Water Conservation Commission as a part of the commission’s Streamflow
